Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina (GIUMSC) will temporarily close its Augusta Street retail store to begin an extensive renovation that will transform the location into an enhanced shopping destination while expanding career development opportunities for the community.

The last day for customers to shop at the Augusta Street store, located at 3214 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC 29605, will be Saturday, August 1. The store will temporarily close beginning Sunday, August 2, and will remain closed throughout the renovation project.

GIUMSC will continue accepting donations at the location throughout the entire renovation. Donated items will continue to support Goodwill’s focus on providing education, job training, and employment opportunities for individuals in the Upstate and Midlands of South Carolina.

When renovations are complete, customers will enjoy a refreshed, modern shopping experience. The updated location will also feature a new Career and Training Center, dedicated to providing education and training resources that help individuals secure sustainable careers.
