The Benjamin E. Mays Family Center is a community hub in Pacolet, SC, providing social services, educational programs, and support to families, veterans, seniors, and children to foster well-being and self-sufficiency.

Overview

The Center serves as a family resource hub and community beacon, aiming to empower residents of Pacolet and surrounding areas to reach their full potential

The Center offers a broad range of services that address social, educational, and health-related needs, including:

• Family support: Counseling, parenting programs, and guidance to overcome hardships
• Veterans and seniors: Monthly fellowship dinners, benefits guidance, and programming tailored to veterans and seniors
• Youth and early education: Activities and programs designed to support child development and school readiness.
• Community resources: Access to health services, food distributions, skills training, and community events, including job fairs and mental health forums
• Additional offerings: Clothes closet, senior fitness center, hair salon, and holiday meal distributions
