Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina (GIUMSC) is excited to announce the grand opening of rePLAY, its first-ever thrift sports store, located at 1 Krieger Drive in Travelers Rest. The new retail space, which is attached to the existing Goodwill Travelers Rest store, will offer a wide range of gently used sporting goods, apparel, and equipment, all at affordable prices.

rePLAY is a unique venture for GIUMSC, designed to make sports and outdoor activities accessible to everyone. The store will be packed with over 800 square feet of curated items, providing everything from athletic clothing to specialized gear for various sports and activities. Whether you or someone in your family is starting a new sport or updating your current gear, rePLAY will have what you need to kick your game into high gear.

A core part of the GIUMSC mission is reinvesting in the community. Over 90 cents of every dollar spent at rePLAY goes directly to the mission of helping people improve their lives through the power of work. This includes job training, career services, and other community programs that empower individuals to find meaningful careers and build a better future.

The grand opening celebration for rePLAY will take place on September 12 at 10 AM and will feature a tailgate from 11 AM - Noon, games, giveaways, and a ribbon-cutting prior to the store opening. The public is invited to explore the space and learn more about how their purchases support the GIUMSC mission.
