(Greenville, SC) Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina (GIUMSC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Derek Stapleton as the organization’s new Vice President of Finance.

With more than 25 years of experience in financial management, Stapleton brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and fiscal oversight. His strong track record of implementing sound financial practices and data-driven strategies align seamlessly with GIUMSC’s mission of helping people become independent through education and employment.

In his new role, Stapleton will lead the financial direction of GIUMSC, overseeing key functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and regulatory compliance. He will also play a vital role on the executive leadership team, providing strategic financial insights to guide organizational decision-making and drive sustainable growth.
