Abbeville County First Steps is excited for the upcoming Community Day event. This event is an opportunity for families, organizations, and community partners to come together, share resources, and celebrate our community.

Abbeville 1^st Steps is a Non-profit organization who works with at risk families around Abbeville County. We currently visit families twice a month and teach the parents a lesson in parenting and then teach their child/children a lesson to prepare them for entering school. Once a month we also give each child in the program a book to encourage a love of reading. We also try to help with items that are needed from our donations such as diapers. If we don't have the item requested we will do our best to help find the resources needed.
