If it’s collecting dust, it’s exactly what we’re looking for.

There isn’t much we don’t take. And, every donation to Goodwill is tax deductible. Your stuff may be old or out of style, but it’s new to us. Every bit goes a long way in funding job training and career services all across South Carolina.

You might be wondering…
How do I donate?

It’s super easy! Take your donation to any one of our easy-to-find retail stores or donation centers. We’ll take it off your hands and give you a tax receipt. Just one favor. Please don’t leave donations outside the door if we’re closed. Secure them in the on-site donation bins so we have your goods the next morning.

What’s it worth?

While we can’t establish or confirm the value of donated items, our valuation guide can. Note item values on your tax receipt while you’re thinking about it. Hopefully, you’ll have a whole stack by tax time!

What if it’s big?

Have a donation valued at more than $4,999.00? First, a big thank you! Second, you’ll need to have it appraised before donating it. Keep your appraisal with your tax receipt. Your accountant will be looking for it!
