Heat Pump Technician Program

Air source heat pumps (ASHP) are more cost efficient and environmentally friendly than traditional heating and cooling systems. As demand for air source equipment grows, trained installers and maintenance technicians are needed.

In five weeks, you can become a trained air source heat pump technician through Goodwill. The full-time, paid training program also addresses barriers to education and includes job placement assistance. Get industry training and nationally recognized certifications in:

• Construction and safety
• Heating, cooling and refrigeration
• Building science and air sealing
• HVAC diagnostic and service equipment training
• HVAC installation and maintenance
• Troubleshooting, mechanical operation and electrical components
