GoodWorks Staffing Services is a division of Goodwill Industries of Upstate and Midlands South Carolina.  Our roots run deep in the staffing and outsourcing industry as Goodwill Industries was founded in 1902 and for more than 100 years has been providing employment opportunity to the disable and disadvantaged.  Our existence in the Upstate began in 1973 and for more than 35 years we have continued the legacy of Goodwill’s philosophy to offer a hand up, not a hand out.  Goodwill believes in the power of work and helps thousands of people each year reach their employment goals.

GoodWorks Staffing Services was founded to provide opportunity to displaced workers in our community while at the same time build partnerships with our local industry and business leaders.  Hardworking people are far too often displaced for a variety of reasons—from plant closures, reduction in workforce, or unfortunate situations beyond their control.  Many are skilled, experienced, fully capable and wanting to work.  With a long standing reputation for providing “Goodwill” and expertise in the employment arena, the concept of providing professional temporary and contract outsourcing services on a not-for-profit basis was easy and just one more way to serve the citizens and employers of Upstate South Carolina.  We operate the same as any other staffing agency and we recruit the same as any other staffing agency, but our differences are many.
