Funded through Greenville County Workforce Development, the WIA program provides intensive case management and additional support services to youth between the ages 18-21. The development of a solid work ethic and work ready skills allows participants to become productive and successful adults in the community.
Free training includes:
Educational Development/GED Preparation
Work Readiness Classes
Opportunity for Work Experience in Food Service, Retail or Certified Nurse Aide
Opportunity to earn a nationally-recognized certification
Program Participants must be:
*between the ages of 18-21 years old
*residents of Greenville County
*not enrolled in school
*currently unemployed
*able to document family income within the program's eligibility requirements
