Disabled Children Get the Ride of a Lifetime!

Myers Center and Hidden Treasure given sneak peek to the Subway Big Dig!

(Greenville, SC – September 12, 2008) On Friday, September 19, 2008 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Goodwill will open the gates to the Subway Big Dig a day early to allow disabled children from the Myers Center and Hidden Treasure the opportunity to ride and operate heavy construction equipment such as bull dozers, excavators, and 40 ton dump trucks.

WHAT:  Goodwill will partner with the Myers Center and Hidden Treasure to provide heavy construction equipment rides to disabled children.     

WHERE: The Village at Pelham, 395 Abner Creek Road, Greer, South Carolina (off of Hwy 14)

WHEN:  Friday, September 19, 2008 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

WHY:   To give children with disabilities a hands-on opportunity with heavy construction equipment.
