Goodwill’s Employer of the Year for 2007 is Caterpillar, Inc.

For more than 12 years, Caterpillar and Goodwill Upstate/Midlands have worked together in a strong partnership that reflects the highest standards and codes of conduct we both live by. The words in Caterpillar’s Code of Conduct define us; “Despite our differences – in geography, culture, language and business – we are one at Caterpillar, one company united by these common principals (INTREGRITY, EXCELLENCE, TEAMWORK, COMMITMENT) and a shared commitment to the highest standards of conduct.”

Goodwill’s partnership with Caterpillar reflects the basic principals to which we both are committed. We have had many of our clients graduate from learning our jobs with Caterpillar to full-time employment in the Greenville Business Community. This working relationship reflects a clear example of Caterpillar’s Code of Conduct; working to help Goodwill accomplish its mission “to offer training, placement, and the tools to achieve individual success to people with disabilities and other employment barriers”.
